Global Asset Allocation: A Survey of the World’s Top Asset Allocation Strategies

Description

Technically, there is something wrong in the system if our focus lies intently on assets, talking about the full control of such including the overall volume and value allocation. The book Global Asset Allocation discusses the concept by providing an introductory lesson on the entire archiving system and history of commonly traded assets like stocks, bonds, and currencies. The discussion delves deeper into the ramifications that inflation inflicts on finances and how diversification of assets provides a tool kit efficient enough to eradicate the sharp threats carried by risky asset classes.

What’s interesting about this book is how it goes beyond stocks or bond portfolio limitation to focus on a macrocosmic and encompassing allocation with respect to assets. Using histories and research-based insights, 13 assets and their returns dating back from 1973 were put under assessment and evaluation. Some of these assets are popular profiles, including Ray Dalio’s All-Weather Portfolio, Warren Buffett’s methodologies, and the Endowment portfolio. After intensive analysis, this book concluded that there is a shared commonality among these well-known profiles. As the conclusion suggests, there’s more to asset allocation that sways the profile, and it is up to this book to disclose such.
